Just that sort of thing — relentlessly, globally, forever. So consider people so dense one imagines a microwaved cheeseburger where their brains should be — what about oppressed straight guys? Who will speak for them?
LGBT rights opposition is the opposition to legal rightsproposed or enacted, for lesbiangaybisexualand transgender people. Organizations influential in LGBT rights opposition frequently oppose the enactment of laws making same-sex marriage legal, the passage of anti-discrimination laws aimed at curtailing anti-LGBT discriminationincluding in employment and housing, the passage of anti-bullying laws to protect LGBT minors, laws decriminalizing same-gender relationships, and other LGBT rights related laws. These groups are often religious or socially conservative in nature. Such opposition can be motivated by homophobiatransphobiabigotry animosity,  religionmoral beliefspolitical ideologiesor other reasons.
Lil Nas X is winning praise online for explaining to a confused Kevin Hart, who quit as Oscars host last year after renewed attention to his past anti-gay commentsthat he wanted to come out in order to combat anti-gay prejudice. Lil Nas then said he wasn't "forced" to come out but made the decision to live openly because "growing up [he had been taught] to hate that shit. Lil Nas went on to say that his decision to come out while experiencing a career high would show that he wasn't doing it for attention, but instead to show fans that his sexuality is not important.
The Law recently passed in Russia banning the progaganda among minors of non-traditional sexual relations has evoked hysterical responses from liberal media. A boycott of the Winter Olympics has even been discussed. Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbiangaybisexual or transgender LGBT. Homophobia is observable in critical and hostile behavior such as discrimination and violence on the basis of sexual orientations that are non-heterosexual. Negative attitudes toward identifiable LGBT groups have similar yet specific names: lesbophobia is the intersection of homophobia and sexism directed against lesbians, biphobia targets bisexuality and bisexual people, and transphobia targets transgender and transsexual people and gender variance or gender role nonconformity.
