It is my first game boy of anytype. I'm not sure about the touch screen though? Is it ONLY meant to be touched with the included stylus?
The original pen is too short and too slim to allow for a normal grip which might lead to unnecessary tired or painful fingers. Many have tried to address this problem and there are literally hundreds of types of third parties touch pens on the market trying to address the flaws of the original one. But none has been successful in solving both the grip and length problem in one pen.

I've looked in stores and online, and I can't find a place to simply buy a thumbstrap stylus or two. Anyone know the best place to look? I haven't found any aftermarket ones yet, but can keep looking if Big N's won't work for you.
